Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan approved a programme of measures on complex development of city and district of Tashkent region for 2016-2018.
The programme includes targeted parameters of industrial production in Tashkent region for 2016-2018, the forecast parameters of investment projects on creation of new, modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of existing capacities of industrial enterprises of Tashkent region for 2016-2018.
The document also includes the forecast parameters of localization projects, envisaging organization of production of competitive import-substituting products in Tashkent region for 2016-2018 and the list of directions of implementation of measures for the further development of raw materials, deep processing of fruit and vegetable production, increase food production in Tashkent region for 2016-2018.
Main parameters on rapid development of engineering and communication and industrial infrastructure in Tashkent region for 2016-2018 was also approved.
According to the programme, the volume of industrial production in the region will grow by 33.4% in 2016-2018. It is expected that fuel-energy complex in the reporting period will grow by 21.5%, food consumer goods production – 83.1%, construction materials production – 35%, non-food consumer goods production – 38.7%.
In the reporting period, the region plans to realize 648 projects with estimated cost of US$632.733 million. In the result, some 11,500 new jobs will be created.
Within the localization programme, Tashkent region will implement 169 projects with the production volume of 136.57 billion soums.
The programme on further developing raw base, deepening processing of fruits and vegetables, increasing production of food products in Tashkent region for 2016-2018 includes over 2,370 projects with estimated cost of US$318,000. The programme will help to create 12,380 jobs.
About 514 projects with total cost of US$106,640 included to the programme of rapid development of engineering-communication and production infrastructure of Tashkent region for 2016-2018.
