Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In the first half of 2021, the total amount of transactions carried out through the interbank payment system amounted to 1,128 trillion soums, which is 55% more than the same period of last year.
The number of users of remote banking services throughout the republic exceeded 17 million people, which is 5.5 million more than the same period of last year.
The number of installed ATMs and self-service kiosks reached 12,298, exceeding last year’s figures as of July 1 by 1,194 units or 11%.
