Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single centers on rendering state services to business entities on principle of one-stop-shop will be handed over from district and city administrations to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On additional measures on improving mechanisms of rendering state services to business entities”.

The document is aimed at preventing red tape, formalism and bureaucratic barriers in providing state services to business entities, improving their quality and efficiency by making full use of modern information and communication technologies.

According to the resolution, single centers on rendering state services to business entities on principle of one-stop-shop will be handed over from district and city administrations to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan.

This will help to improve providing state services to business entities and set single system of providing state services to entrepreneurs.

Uzbek leader set up the Republic and territorial commission on coordination of activities in the sphere of rendering state services to business entities.

The commission will reveal problems and adopt necessary measures, directed at improving quality, accessibility and transparency of the state services, etc.

The resolution said that the centers will additionally provide additional 86 types of licenses and permissions. The centers will independently issue permissions and licenses to business entities.

From 1 January 2018, it is planned to abolish issuing licenses and permissions on special letterheads. It is planned to introduce information system “License”, which will provide information on issues, suspended, re-registered, annulled licenses and permission.
