On December 7, 2020, a contract was signed between the Agency for the Implementation of Projects in the Field of Agroindustrial Complex and Food Supply, on the one hand, and AYKAN INVEST LLC, on the other hand, on Consulting services to study the effectiveness of the import of frozen seed of meat and wool sheep breeds from abroad and goats for the project "Development of the livestock sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan" with the participation of the IBRD and IDA:

The purpose of this work is to provide advice and practical assistance to the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development on the study of the effectiveness of import from abroad of frozen seed of meat and wool breeds of sheep and goats, including sheep of the "Merino" breed and goats of the "Angora" breed, obtaining the seed of pedigree goats and sheep locally, the establishment of a frozen seed bank, and the artificial insemination of sheep and goats.

Description of Services:
The main tasks of the consulting company are: • Study and analysis of the market for goats and sheep of meat-wool breeds, in particular, the “merino” and “angora” breeds, which give soft soft wool, the importance of the obtained wool in the development of the sphere of hand-made carpet weaving in the republic; • Development of a technical map for the import from abroad of frozen seed of meat and wool breeds of sheep and goats, including sheep of the "Merino" breed and goats of the "Angora" breed, obtaining the seed of pedigree goats and sheep in local conditions, creating a bank of frozen semen, and also artificial insemination of sheep and goats. • Development of a business plan for financing the import of frozen seed of meat and wool breeds of sheep and goats, including sheep of the "Merino" breed and goats of the "Angora" breed, obtaining the seed of pedigree goats and sheep in local conditions, creating a frozen seed bank, as well as artificial insemination of sheep and goats. • Study of the impact of the use of artificial insemination of sheep of the "merino" breed and goats of the "angora" breed on wool productivity and quality indicators of wool raw materials; • Study of the current state and problems in the field of sheep breeding in Uzbekistan, in particular, among meat and wool breeds of sheep and goats, predicted results; • Development of a business plan for financing the artificial insemination of sheep and goats, obtaining seed of breeder goats and sheep in local conditions, creating a frozen seed bank. • The role of artificial insemination of sheep and goats, obtaining the seed of breeder goats and sheep in local conditions, creating a frozen seed bank in the development of selection and breeding work.
