The main goal is to measure the medium-term values of indicators of project components. The study will also compare the socio-economic status of beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries. An assessment will help measure the project’s contribution to the World Bank’s dual goals of combating extreme poverty and improving overall well-being by helping livestock farmers, many of whom are small and poor, to increase productivity and farm incomes, and also in encouraging the creation of more jobs in rural areas with improved working conditions through: 1) facilitating access to technology, knowledge and markets. 2) strengthening technical and managerial capacity in agriculture and the agro-industrial sector, 3) introducing new financial products in the financial sector.
