Winners of competition among Uzbek banks announced

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Winners of Republican Competition on attraction of population deposits among commercial banks of Uzbekistan in the result of 2015 have been named in Tashkent. The competition is organized in Uzbekistan annually. This year, some 26 commercial banks, 854 branches and over 4,295 mini-banks and special cash desks participated at the contest this year. The competition is aimed at further stimulating and boosting activities of commercial banks on attracting free money resources of population to deposits at banks, strengthening resource base of banks for their further investment activities, as well as exchange of advance experience in attraction of population deposits. Currently, commercial banks of Uzbekistan offer 250 types of national and foreign currencies without any limit on their size and term. In 2015, the volume of population deposit in commercial banks grew by 28% year-on-year. Winners of the competition are: In the nomination "The best bank of the year on attracting of deposits" 1.
